Privacy Policy

1. Controller

The controller for the processing of personal data within the meaning of the Swiss Data Protection Act (revFADP) is Trafo Baden Betriebs AG, Brown Boveri Platz 1, 5400 Baden. Contact: events@trafobaden.ch

2. Scope

This policy applies to the Travolata Club member portal at members.travolata.ch and all related functions: registration, membership, ticket purchases, vouchers, referral links, the leaderboard and the community features.

3. What data we process

Basic details: title, first and last name, email address, and on request your phone number and address.

Account and membership data: level, points, attendances, referral code, language setting, visibility settings.

Attendance and event data: registrations, attendances, names of guests you bring, seating requests, information on intolerances and allergies.

Payment data: handled by Stripe. We do not store full card details.

Voucher data: codes, values, remaining balances, recipient details for gifted vouchers.

Referral data: who introduced whom through a personal link.

Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, timestamps, log files.

4. Purposes

Running the portal and managing your membership, handling ticket purchases, vouchers and member discounts, maintaining the points and level system and the leaderboard, seating and kitchen planning, communication about events, security and prevention of misuse, and meeting legal obligations.

5. Legal basis

We process data to perform our contract with you, on the basis of your consent (for example for the leaderboard, discoverability in the community, or newsletters), and on the basis of legitimate interests in secure operation and the development of our offering. You may withdraw consent at any time.

6. Leaderboard and visibility

Members appear on the leaderboard with their first name and the initial of their surname. You can object to this at any time in your profile, with no disadvantage to you as a guest. In the community you are not discoverable by default; you enable this yourself, as well as whether your registrations are visible to people who follow you.

7. Referrals and tracking links

Through personal referral links and partner links we record how a registration or purchase came about. For this we set a cookie valid for around 60 days. Partners receive aggregated figures only, never personal data.

8. Processors

Base44 (Wix) for operating and hosting the portal, Stripe for payment processing, and Resend for sending email. These providers are contractually bound to confidentiality and to processing data in compliance with data protection law.

9. Transfers abroad

Some providers process data outside Switzerland, in particular in the EU, the EEA or the United States. We ensure an adequate level of protection, in particular through standard contractual clauses.

10. Retention

We keep data for as long as it is needed for the purposes described or as required by law, for example ten years for accounting records. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

11. Your rights

You have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction and objection, as well as to receive your data. Please contact events@trafobaden.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

12. Cookies

The portal uses technically necessary cookies for login and session handling, and one cookie to attribute referral links. You can manage and delete cookies in your browser.

13. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access restrictions and encrypted transmission.

14. Automated decisions

Club levels are assigned on a rule-based basis according to your points. No automated individual decision with legal effect takes place.

15. Changes

We may amend this policy. The version published on members.travolata.ch applies.
